We sit here on the summit
looking down on a land where people cannot see
the beauty all around them.
They discard more joy than most will feel, maybe.
Below us melts the sunset.
The world breathes a collective, rolling sigh.
The stars shine out forever
—bits of honey spattered on a velvet sky.
Dance with me…
We dance on clouds above the sea.
Dance with me.
Let your belief now set you free.
Come dance with me.
Here we dance
beneath the starlit rain.
The shooting stars
steal away the pain.
For pain in beauty leaves the deepest scar.
But in the end, love transcends all by far.
Dance with me…
We dance on clouds above the sea.
Dance with me.
Let your belief now set you free.
Come dance with me.
